My friend and I came to Laguna for a girls’ getaway week and came to Skinterest on the recommendation of TripAdvisor & Yelp. Boy, were they right! Yvonne gives a fabulous facial and knows just what products to use on mature women’s skin. I have been here twice for two facials and a hot stone massage and I love everything from the space (which is tranquil and quiet) to the wonderful staff and of course their services are excellent. My skin always looks amazing after one of their specially formulated facials and I have already recommend them to a few of my friends. Heather gives an amazing non rushed and Thorough massage working on untying knots very soft hands and left feeling very relaxed, rejuvenated and renewed . Steam room and shower was awesome !! Okay at first I was skeptical because all the reviews on here had 5 stars but I must say this place is the real deal. Yvonne is great! Her spa and herself have such an amazing energy I 100% recommend this place. I had the vacuodermie done to my body and I felt really great afterwords. I was also super smooth and my skin looks even no bumps and after my first appointment. Just speaking to her you can clearly understand she loves what she does and has a knowledge of skin care that is super impressive. I felt like I was in such great hands and I’m excited to go back and get a facial and speak with Yvonne again haha, thank you!

She has been trained by the absolute best of the best in Europe, Canada, and the US, and has traveled across the globe perfecting her craft, spending a significant amount of time and energy learning the world’s most effective protocols, methods and best-kept-secrets pertaining to beauty, health and wellness. Not only do her treatments FEEL amazing and insanely relaxing, but the proof is completely in the pudding with her and all she does. Went for a Valentine’s Day couples massage. It included facials, private steam and shower, and champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Everything was amazing. Massage was fantastic and we were totally relaxed afterwards! Definitely recommend:)

I was lucky enough to be given a gift certificate for a facial and massage. I decided to split the services and did the facial first. I went with the signature facial, which was the best facial I have every received. The spa itself is very modern, clean and inviting. Customer service is fantastic and you can tell that they really care about their clients. They are very knowledgeable and carry great products mostly free of all the yucky chemicals and nasty junk that you may find elsewhere. I am looking forward to going back in the future.

In researching different options to get rid of cellulite, I came across vacuodermie. It is not very common here in the States, but is more so in Europe.People were reporting great results, so I thought it time to give it a shot. I called to inquire about their services and process and spoke with Yvonne. She was very helpful and patient as I asked a lot of questions. After doing the extensive research on vacuodermie vs endomologie, I decided to give vacuodermie a shot. I was shocked at the results. I lost a little over 1/2" adter the FIRST session! I decided to buy a series of 7 and I've had 4 treatments so far. Everyone has noticed a significant different even my husband who was skeptical at first. I am truly happy with the results this far. I feel comfortable in my own skin again. Thank you Yvonne!!!!!

My face feels and looks amazing every single time I leave Skinterest spa! I found Skinterest 3 years ago through Google. I have had facials done for years at other places, but the impact and results were never like this...the skin on my face has transformed for the best! Before going to Yvonne, my skin wasn't too terrible, but I did have some adult acne, sun spots and I thought the texture of my skin was soft. During my appointment, Yvonne performed the facial by examining my face, feeling the texture of my skin, performed extractions and provided her professional opinion while I spilled my guts to her about my divorce btw, she's a great listener Due to my acne-prone skin, she recommended a specific skin care regimen for me to do at home. Additionally, I mentioned that I generally get these deep painful pimples on my chin. I thought it was 100% hormonal (partially is), but she had recommended I cut back/cut out eating prawns and/or shellfish. So, I took her recommendation and completely cut out shellfish. 3 years going strong and have not had regular deep painful pimples since! I apologize this review is extra long as I believe what Skinterest spa has done for me and strongly recommended Skinterest as your spa experience (e.g., facials, massage, etc.)!!!! This was my first visit to Skinterest (super catchy name by the way ), and I was really impressed by not only the top notch service, but also the quality of the facial I received. I saw Yvonne, the owner of the spa. She is very warm and has a very welcoming and inviting energy. She is also very knowledgable about skincare, and really understood my skin and what I needed. I went to Skinterest Wellness Spa while staying in Laguna Beach this summer. I was elated to learn that they offer specialized treatments I have only ever seen before in European top spas. I wanted my legs to be beach ready so the owner, Yvonne, designed a custom package of 7 Vacuodermie and pressotherapy sessions for me. It worked wonders...completely changed the texture and appearance! The owner is an absolute gem of a human being, Her presence exudes an authentic wellness and healing aura you can feel the moment she steps in the room. The expert level knowledge of her craft is evident just through conversation alone. As for the atmosphere of the spa, the energy is soothing, clean and for the lack ofd a better term, magical. I can hardly wait for my next visit!

Walked into Skinterest with sunburnt, blotchy, aging skin and left feeling like…well, like I had a hint of the lovely skin of many years ago. Really got a terrific facial in the most relaxing of experiences. And my esthetician was so clearly in the know about truly caring for your skin on a daily basis. My only complaint is that expensive products were pushed within 5 minutes of beginning our session until we left. I certainly need good products, but I felt a bit bombarded by the sales pitch throughout. Scale back on the product push and Skinterest would get 5 stars from me.

I happened in here based on Yelp reviews when I had a friend in town. I’m 49 and have been getting facials since my 20s, in S. Florida and NYC. Yvonne’s was among the very best. Her approach is very personalized. She is extremely honest and skilled. She made product suggestions but no pressure. The products she sold me were reasonable and, it’s been 2 weeks- my skin looks better than it has in years. I am so thrilled to have found this little jewel of a business. I will be returning. Prices are very reasonable too. My friend had a facial with her daughter and was also very satisfied.

This is the best spa due to the number of treatments they have available compared to other spas. I have been going here for a few months now for Vacudermine and Pressotherapy treatments which have essentially gotten rid of some circulation issues I was having in my left knee and has shunk my waistline as well. Also doing LED treatments for my face and various other things. The Spa itself is wonderful, small, private and professional. Yvonne is a truely lovely individual. There is no other day spa that delivers their customers top-quality service and genuine care. I’ve had several services here over the past two years including: facials, massages, and I can honestly say my satisfaction was surpassed every time. Located in the Lumberyard Center along Forest Ave, the spa is easy to access despite the congested traffic known in Laguna Beach. The spa itself is not too big, however this is good. The store is private, elegant, and is absolutely calming the moment you walk in. The decor is simple yet extremely polished. The customer service itself was excellent. The staff is genuinely kind and easy to communicate with. Answering all my questions, informing me on each service and product. What i love most was the staff guiding me to services that fit my needs. My needs were to erase acne and to purchase products to keep my skin looking great. After just one facial, my skin looked refresh and the acne was gone. Thanks to the hour long facial (by the way- truly is the best anywhere in Southern California) and the high-quality products my skin is at its best. Skinterest offers many services with reasonable prices. With the services they offer, the beach a walk away, and the genuine care they give to every customer- I highly recommend stopping by at Skinterest for a great treatment.
